I just read on the HUD website today that FHA is still offering finacning with as little as 3% down. That can give a little hope to you buyers out there, lending is not falling apart completely! I just got a HELOC against my own home, so I know things are still happening. I think the media likes to make a big deal of the "credit crisis". I think there is a problem, but if you are creative and do your research, you can get around it.

Do you know what the current interest rates are? I am thinking about selling a couple of my rentals to the renters, it would be nice to be able to act like I know what I am talking about when I talk to them.

What are the guidelines? What will my renters need to do to qualify?
