NO PETS
Hi All,
My colleague live in a rented flat. One part of their Tenancy Agreement states: 19. PETS The tenant agrees not to keep any animals or pets in the accommodation without the prior written consent of the landlord. Any such consent will not be unreasonably withheld. Any pet (where permitted) will be kept under supervision and control to ensure that it does not cause deterioration in the accommodation, deterioration in the condition of common areas, nuisance to neighbours or in the locality of the property. So, he emailed asking permission to have a dog. The response back was "Sorry, not pets allowed" - nothing more. Have they broken the Tenancy Agreement by unreasonably withholding consent? What can my colleague do in this case? Thanks in advance. Debt Management |

RE: NO PETS
As per the agreement id they are not allowing him to keep pets so you should forget about it.As you are looking for good house on rent and if you are the place with affordable price so he should not keep pets and other unnecessary things.
